Site work and paving for a road / highway in Francesville, Indiana. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project includes paving various streets throughout the Town of Francesville. Work may consist of milling, cleaning, tack coat, surface and binder courses. The work to be performed and the proposal to be submitted shall include sufficient sums for all general construction, mechanical installation, labor, materials, permits, licenses, insurance, and all other items incidental to and required for the construction of the facilities. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope marked "BID FOR: 2026 CCMG Paving." No bid will be considered unless submitted on the printed Proposal Form found in the project manual. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids for at least 90 days. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guaranty consisting of a certified check or bond for five percent (5%) of the bid amount made out to the owner. Proposals must include all information requested by Indiana Form 96 (Revised 2010), including a financial statement. The contractor awarded the work will be required to furnish performance, maintenance, and payment bonds in an amount equal to the contract bid price, as well as certificates of insurance. All bonds and liability insurance must remain in effect for twelve months after project completion and acceptance. The contractor must begin work within ten days of receiving the Notice to Proceed and complete the project according to contract documents. Each bidder is responsible for inspecting the project sites and thoroughly reviewing the contract documents and specifications. Conditional or qualified bids will not be accepted. All applicable laws, ordinances, and regulations must be followed. Award will be made to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
