Description

Site work and paving for a civil project in Green Tree, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call civil work for a road / highway and water / sewer project.

The scope of work includes approximately 21,000 square yards of roadway milling and profiling, 2½" Superpave WMA binder course, 1½" Superpave WMA wearing course, base repair, bituminous spot repair, curb repairs, catch basin adjustments, traffic control, lawn restoration, alternates for additional roadway resurfacing, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit. Proposals must be submitted on forms furnished, accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, to guarantee entrance into the contract if awarded. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act for contracts exceeding $25,000, and the Public Works Employment Verification Act. Bidders are required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964.
