Renovation of an educational facility in Ripley, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Bids are requested for the installation of new gutters, facia, and soffit at Ravenswood Grade School. Contractors who have not previously worked for Jackson County Schools on similar services must submit a detailed written description of their qualifications and provide two references for similar work done for other clients. Bids must be submitted in marked envelopes. A mandatory pre-bid meeting and walk-through will take place at the Jackson County Board office, where contractors will receive a copy of the scope of work and visit the site. Within ten days of contract award, the successful bidder must provide written verification of Workers Compensation Coverage, liability insurance of $1,000,000, and a State of West Virginia general contractor’s license. The Board reserves the right to accept or reject any/all bids and waive any informality in the bidding process.
