Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jackson, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The project consists of the furnishing of all labor and materials and for the construction of the project designated as COJ-RS-04 for roadway resurfacing. The scope includes overlay, leveling, base repair, milling, and striping, and all related appurtenances shown on the Bid Form. Bidders are to submit written sealed bids for the work. The total contract time is 180 consecutive calendar days, with liquidated damages set at $750 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Minorities and women business enterprises are encouraged to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award. Award will be made to the lowest and best bidder, and the owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Plans, specifications, and contract documents may be obtained upon payment of a fee, which is non-refundable. Should a BIDDER find discrepancies in, or omissions from, the drawings or specifications or should they be in doubt as to their written meaning, they should at once notify the ENGINEER, who will send a written instruction or interpretation to all known holders of the documents.
