Site work and paving for a road / highway in Jackson, Mississippi. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists of furnishing all labor and materials and constructing the project designated as COJ-RS-06. The scope includes overlay, leveling, base repair, milling, striping, and all related appurtenances as shown on the Bid Form. The contract time is 180 consecutive calendar days, with liquidated damages of $750 per consecutive calendar day thereafter. Plans and specifications are available at the office of IMS Engineers for a fee. The award will be made to the lowest and best bidder, and the City of Jackson reserves the right to reject any and all bids. Minority and woman business enterprises will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of race, color, or national origin. The total Contract Time will be 180 consecutive calendar days and the liquidated damages will be $750 per consecutive calendar day thereafter.
