The project consists of the construction of creek clearing and grubbing, debris removal, and slope stabilization, including all related appurtenances shown on the bid form. All labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the construction are to be furnished. Instructions to bidders include submitting written sealed bids by the specified deadline. Drawings and specifications are available at the office of the Engineering Division, Department of Public Works, and contract documents may be obtained upon payment of a fee, which is non-refundable. The contract period is 180 consecutive calendar days per project with liquidated damages for delays. Minority and woman business enterprises will be given full opportunity to submit bids and will not be discriminated against. The award will be made to the lowest and best bidder, but the City of Jackson reserves the right to reject any and all bids.
