Site work for a water / sewer project in New Orleans, Louisiana. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
The work consists of furnishing one fully crewed and fully equipped self-propelled trailing suction type hopper dredge to perform dredging operations in the Mississippi River from Baton Rouge to the Gulf, including Southwest Pass, and potentially in other areas both inside and outside the New Orleans District. The dredge will be used to accomplish required channel maintenance and related dredging activities in support of navigation. The magnitude of construction for this project is estimated to range between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. The solicitation is anticipated to be issued on or about 30 April 2026, with a bid opening date to be established by future amendment. Solicitation documents will be made available through SAM.gov, and offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management to be eligible for contract award. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
