Description

Site work for a water / sewer project in Summit, Illinois. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The proposed work consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals required to complete the rehabilitation and improvement of an elevated steel water storage tank, including but not limited to: abrasive blast cleaning and repainting of the exterior surfaces with full containment; structural and appurtenance modifications including balcony modification repair and adjustment of sway rods; installation of new access components including interior ladder, exterior ladders, and fall prevention devices on all ladders; installation of a frost-free vent and modification of the overflow pipe with a flap gate; welding cap plates over obsolete cathodic protection lift holes in the roof; repair of grout; installation of a roof hatch gasket; and furnishing dechlorination equipment including diffuser and tablets for tank disinfection. All work shall be performed in accordance with the Contract Documents and Specifications.
