Towamensing Township Patricia Kuehner, Secretary 120 Stable Road Lehighton, PA 18235 Telephone: 610-681-4202. Proposals are sought for the 2026 Asphalt Seal Coat Project on various streets in Towamensing Township, Carbon County, PA, covering 49,004 square yards of Double Bituminous Seal Coat. All materials must conform to PENNDOT Pub. 408 Specifications and Standards, and bidders must be PENNDOT prequalified. Proposals must be submitted on Township-provided forms and marked accordingly. Each bid must include a certified check or bid bond for ten percent of the bid amount, made payable to Towamensing Township. The successful bidder must provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the full amount of the contract price within twenty days of the contract award. The Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any proposals or portions thereof, to delete projects or portions due to budgetary constraints, and to waive technicalities in the best interest of the Township.
