Site work for a mixed-use development in Brooklyn Township, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; and sidewalk / parking lot.
The work on this project will include the construction of a new pavilion, ADA sidewalks, walking trails, and parking areas and other miscellaneous items for the Brooklyn Township Park as shown on the Project Drawings. Bidders' proposals must be accompanied by a certified check, certified bank treasurer's check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in the form provided in the Contract Documents. Security in an amount equal to 10% of the base bid is required, with the surety naming Brooklyn Township as payee or oblige. A Non-Collusion Affidavit of Contractor must be signed, notarized, and submitted with the Bid Proposal. A signed and filed no-lien agreement is required before any work begins. The project is subject to applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Human Relations Act and the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. All proposals shall be irrevocable for sixty (60) days after the bid opening date, unless delayed due to required approvals by another governmental agency, and must be accompanied by a 10% bid guaranty, payable to Brooklyn Township. Brooklyn Township reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any or all irregularities, mistakes, omissions, or informalities. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held at the project site for the purpose of reviewing the project. Contractors are encouraged to visit the site prior to the pre-bid meeting.
