Site work and paving for a road / highway in New Kensington, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
To include approximately 22,500 square yards of asphalt milling and installing approximately 1250 Tons of Asphalt Wearing Coarse 2500 Tons of Asphalt Binder and appurtenance. A Certified Check payable to the City of New Kensington, or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder as acceptable surety, in the amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total of the Bid must be included with each bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Performance, Labor and Materials Payment and Maintenance Bonds. Doc note: Electronic copies of the bid documents may be obtained at no charge through the office of Alpha Engineering Co., Inc. All prospective bidders must be registered through Alpha Engineering Co., Inc. to receive bid documents. Bids must be submitted on the forms provided and completed in strict accordance with the instructions provided. Only documents obtained directly from the Engineer will be valid at bid opening. Hardcopies are available to be mailed upon payment of $75.00 plus $15.00 Postage per set of plans and specifications. The Owners reserve the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
