Work includes, but is not limited to, the following a. Demolition and reconstruction of the following components within and associated with the existing Comfort Station: 1) HVAC equipment, ductwork, and air devices 2) Soffit system replacement 3) Gutter and downspout replacement 4) Mechanical Room door replacement b. Demolition and reconstruction of the following components within and associated with the existing Inspection Barn: 1) Structural column repairs 2) Coating repair of entire structural frame and supports 3) New overhead coiling doors 4) Door, door frame, and door hardware repairs and replacements 5) Lighting fixture replacement 6) HVAC equipment and exhaust system c. Other electrical work associated with the renovations d. Other mechanical and plumbing work associated with the renovations e. Miscellaneous architectural upgrades f. Incorporation of a lightning protection system g. Sequencing of construction activity to close one site at a time. Coordinate closure with Department for staff and equipment relocations as required. The Improvements under this Contract consist of Architectural renovations of the inspection barns to include electrical, HVAC, mechanical, concrete slab replacement and other ancillary work at the Northbound and Southbound Weigh Stations located near Wildwood on SR 93 (I-75) in Marion County, Florida.
