Replace all remaining fluorescent and incandescent interior light fixtures at Pine Ridge Hospital with new LED lighting systems. Work includes demolition and removal of existing light fixtures, installation of new LED light fixtures and associated lighting control systems, and full cleanup of demolished materials. The lighting system shall utilize LED nLight fixtures or approved equivalents and incorporate relay-pack-based controls with occupancy sensors in corridors and rooms. Installation shall comply with NEC and NFPA 101 requirements to ensure proper egress lighting and life safety performance, including automatic restoration of life safety lighting to 100 percent illumination during power outages. All fixtures shall be dimmable to 10 percent output. The contractor shall minimize damage to existing finishes during removal and restore any damaged surfaces to like-new condition. New atrium strip lighting shall be installed in two atriums as indicated in project drawings, with field verification of linear dimensions prior to procurement. All wiring and conduit required to support new controls and circuiting shall be installed in compliance with applicable codes, and complete as-built documentation of installed wiring shall be provided. All work shall be performed by electricians licensed in the State of South Dakota and installed in accordance with manufacturer specifications.
