The Town of Winhall seeks proposals from qualified contractors for custodial/cleaning services at municipally-owned facilities. The selected contractor must provide proof of professional liability insurance, Workers Compensation insurance (or a non-employee work agreement if a sole proprietor), and documentation of all licensing prior to contract signing. The contractor is responsible for all supplies, travel, fuel, equipment, insurances, and related expenses. All equipment must be in safe, working order before beginning work. The contractor assumes full responsibility for all contributions or taxes related to unemployment insurance, medical and retirement benefits, pensions, and annuities as required by U.S. or State law for their employees. Responses must include: - A cover letter expressing interest - A resume or list outlining experience and qualifications - List of all employees, if applicable - List of at least three references - Proposed fee structure with an explanation of the basis for fees Proposals will be evaluated on experience, background, and ability to perform the services at an affordable price. Cost will not be the sole determining factor. The Town of Winhall may reject incomplete, late, or non-conforming proposals and may seek clarification from any contractor after proposal review.
