Site work and renovation of a mixed-use development in Charlotte Ama, Virgin Islands. Completed plans call for the renovation of a playground / park / athletic field; and for site work for a playground / park / athletic field.
The Virgin Islands Housing Finance Authority invites sealed bids from qualified, experienced, and properly licensed contractors authorized to conduct business in the U.S. Virgin Islands. The work involves providing all labor, materials, equipment, supervision, and services necessary for the Frenchtown Playground Repairs Project located in Frenchtown, St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands. The project consists of performing detailed repairs and improvements to the covered playground shelter and surrounding areas, including but not limited to removal and replacement of wood lattice and fascia boards, inspection and replacement of rafters and structural components as required, surface preparation and painting of wood and concrete elements, installation of solar-powered lighting, and installation of site furnishings including picnic tables and a chess table. All work must be performed in strict accordance with the Contract Documents, applicable building codes, FEMA requirements, and all federal and territorial regulations. Contractors are required to submit their bids as instructed and comply with all requirements stated.
