This includes three landfills in post closure compliance and one active landfill. South Carolina Department of Environmental Services (SCDES) imposes a regulatory requirement for maintenance of active and closed landfill capping systems and their associated stormwater conveyance systems like sweals, berms, benches and road shoulders.
