Design-bid-build construction of a new Unmanned Fusion Warfare Laboratory facility at Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane. The work includes construction of a facility with secure spaces; mission engineering support areas including collaborative and office spaces; secure research laboratories; a secure server room; and a secure conference room. All secure spaces must be compliant with ICD 705 and anti-terrorism requirements in accordance with UFC 4-010-01, and the facility must incorporate required cybersecurity features. Supporting spaces include an entry lobby, breakroom, restrooms, lactation room, and communications, electrical, and mechanical rooms. The project also includes site preparation work such as pavement, utilities, stormwater management, and incidental improvements and demolition. Three separate floor plan options of approximately 7,321 square feet, 7,938 square feet, and 8,970 square feet will be solicited for bid, with one option selected for construction based on cost. The contract is anticipated to be awarded as a single firm-fixed-price construction contract with an estimated duration of 674 calendar days from notice to proceed.
