The Yale Public School District is requesting bids for the repair or replacement of sections of concrete/sidewalks on the Yale School District's main campus. All sealed bids complying with detailed specifications will be considered before a decision is made. Proposals must be sealed with the bidder's name on the envelope and designated as "Concrete/Sidewalk Installation or Repair - Summer 2026." The district reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive irregularities or defects, award on a split-order or lump-sum basis, and accept other than the low bid if deemed in the district's best interest. The laws of the State of Michigan govern the process. The contractor must hold and save the school system harmless from liability, including costs and expenses, related to claims or judgments for patent, copyright, or trademark infringement arising out of the purchase or use of materials, supplies, or services covered by the contract. Bid proposals must be on the provided forms, with any modifications or exceptions clearly explained. Bids must be sealed, clearly marked with the bidder's name, address, and project title. Bidders may withdraw their response by written request prior to the scheduled opening. The school district reserves the right to reject proposals in whole or in part or waive any informalities or irregularities. Bidder is required to include all applicable taxes in the proposal. All bids must include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationship between the owners or employees of the bidder and any member of the school board or Superintendent. An Affidavit of Compliance with the Iran Economics Sanctions Act must also be fully executed, notarized, and accompany the submission. Yale Public School District must be listed as an additional insured under the contractor's General Liability coverage, with a minimum limit of $1,000,000 for this project and proof provided.
