Yale Public School District will accept sealed proposals for Baseball/Softball Field Improvements as shown on the Contract Documents. Bidders may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Architect after the specified date and from posted sources. All contractors and subcontractors must pay wages and fringe benefits at or above the current prevailing wage rate, and must be registered with LEO, with registration documentation submitted with the bid. Contractors are responsible for posting prevailing wage rates at the job site, submitting certified payroll records for each pay period, and maintaining related documents for at least three years. Each proposal must be accompanied by acceptable bid security in the form of a certified check, cashier’s check, or bid bond in the amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the base bid. All proposals must include a sworn and notarized statement disclosing any familial relationships with the Yale Public School District Board or Superintendent, and certification that the bidder is not an Iran linked business. The Owner reserves the right to waive any irregularity or informality in bids, to reject any and/or all bids, in whole or in part, or to award any Contract to other than the low bidder, should it be deemed in the Owner’s best interest.
