Sealed bids are requested for 147,754 square yards of asphalt seal coat single. Liquidated damages are set at $975.00 per calendar day. Proposals must be submitted on the forms provided by the municipality. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to 10% of the bid, payable to the municipality. The successful bidder must provide a performance bond or certified check for 100% of the contract amount within 20 days of the award. The municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals.
