Site work and paving for a road / highway in West Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.
Sealed proposals will be received by West Bethlehem Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania for the LOVES HILL & HAINER ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. The project includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install a 19.0 mm asphalt overlay along Loves Hill Road and a section of Hainer Road. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid price, made payable to West Bethlehem Township. Bid Packages are available for free download online, or as hard copies for a fee. The bid envelope must be clearly marked LOVES HILL & HAINER ROAD IMPROVEMENTS PROJECT. The Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion. Bidders must comply with the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond, and 15% Maintenance Bond. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500 per calendar day. Bids may be held by West Bethlehem Township for up to sixty days for review and bidder qualification prior to contract award. All notices, demands, requests, questions, instructions, approvals, proposals, claims, or other communications shall be in writing and directed to West Bethlehem Township, Washington County, Pennsylvania, at 247 Jefferson Avenue, PO Box 309, Marianna, PA 15345.
