Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in West Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; and for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot.
A motion on the bids will be made at the scheduled West Bethlehem Township meeting. TOWNSHIP PARK WALKING TRAIL PROJECT - includes the labor, materials, and equipment necessary to install an 8-foot wide bituminous walking trail. Proposals must be on the forms furnished by the Township Engineer. The bid must be accompanied by a certified check or Bid Bond in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the bid price, made payable to West Bethlehem Township. West Bethlehem Township reserves the right to reject any or all bid proposals or any portion thereof. Attention of Bidders is called to the requirements concerning the payment of not less than the prevailing wage and salary rate provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act 442 for the TOWNSHIP PARK WALKING TRAIL PROJECT. Awarded bidder shall provide 100% Performance Bond, 100% Payment Bond and 100% Maintenance Bond for the project. Liquidated damages will apply at the rate of $500.00 per calendar day. Bids may be held by West Bethlehem Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of Bidders, prior to awarding the contract.
