The successful Contractor, in coordination with the Director of Community Services and Tourism, will provide all required documentation before starting work, following requirements outlined in Contractor Requirements. The Contractor will ensure a safe work environment, including installing appropriate signage, restricting access as needed, and participating in a safety orientation with all project staff. The Contractor will construct a new fish cleaning building on the existing concrete pad, matching the existing floor plan and layout. The new building will have block construction with floor and walls sealed with epoxy. Site services include electrical (from new washroom complex panel, surface mounted, all electrical 4' above grade, 2x 20A circuits) and plumbing (from new washroom complex, two sink fixtures, one hose bib, maintaining existing open drain). Accessibility requirements specify that all doors must meet AODA specifications. The Contractor will create construction-ready facility drawings for approval, and the Municipality will complete the building permit. The Contractor must provide all documentation and warranty information on the product and installation techniques used. The successful proponent must have demonstrable experience constructing similar facilities and be able to complete the project safely and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
