Site work and paving for a road / highway in Yakima, Washington. Conceptual plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The work consists of providing professional services to complete NEPA, SEPA, and all environmental permits required for the W. Powerhouse Road Improvement project, which will improve W. Powerhouse Road between S. Naches Road and the Yakima City limits by constructing roundabouts at the intersection of W. Powerhouse Road and Ackley Road and the intersection of W. Powerhouse Road and Naches Heights Road. This area is culturally sensitive and adjacent to Cowiche Creek and other wetlands. The project design is at approximately 30% completion and is ready for environmental documentation to begin. Submittals should include firm name, phone and fax numbers, name of Principal-in-Charge and Project Manager, and number of employees in each firm proposed for the project. Four copies of the proposal are required. Submittals will be evaluated and ranked based on the qualifications of the proposed project manager, qualifications and expertise of the firm, ability to meet schedule, approach to the project, familiarity with WSDOT/FHWA/County standards, and past performance/references. Cost estimates for the environmental work are not to be submitted until a consultant has been selected. All applicable ADA and Civil Rights requirements must be followed.
