Provide labor, material, and equipment for the construction of the North Regional Library Roof Replacement, located at 7009 Harps Mill Road, Raleigh, NC. Bidders must comply with the requirements of the Wake County Minority Business Enterprise Program. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety days after the scheduled closing time for bids. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. This work includes the provision oflabor, material, equipment, supervision and administration to integrate the work outlined in these specifications into the total building system such that no leakage into the system occurs. In general, the scope of work in the Base Bid includes: 1. Low Slope Roof Replacement: a. Remove and dispose oftheroof system including flashings and sheet metal down to the steel deck. b. Secure the existing steel deck to structural framing members. c. Provide 1-1/2 inch Roof Insulation mechanically attached. d. Provide 1-1/2 inch Roof Insulation adhered in foam adhesive. e. Provide Tapered Insulation System adhered in foam adhesive (Roof Sectors E, F, G, H, I, J, and K only). f. Provide Cover Board adhered in foam adhesive. g. Fully adhere felt-back thermoplastic single ply membrane along with flashings and accessories. h. i. Replace sheet metal flashings and trim. j. Install new stormwater drainage components as specified in Section 22 14 26 - "Roof Drains". k. Replace roof hatch as specified in Section 07 72 33 - "Roof Hatches". l. Provide a complete, watertight, 20-year warrantable roof assembly. A written communication from the Contractor to the Designer for any interpretation of, or information needed, required, or desired under the Contract Documents.
