The Town of Windham is seeking qualified and insured contractors with experience in historic structures to bid on one or more components of a grant-funded renovation at the Historic 1802 Meeting House. Contractors may bid on one or more components of the renovation, but must submit separate bids for each component. Bids are requested for the following categories of work: HVAC-GSHP, Electrical, Carpentry, Insulation, Excavation, Concrete, Stonework, Iron Railings, and Paving. Contractors will be working directly for the town and supervised by a project manager. Scheduling will be coordinated with the Project Manager, starting in June, to allow work to be completed by November 15. A site visit is required. Bidders will be asked for a list of relevant experience, three references for work relevant to their bids, and a certificate of insurance. The town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids and to accept the bid it deems most favorable to the town.
