Sealed proposals are invited for furnishing the necessary labor and materials for the rehabilitation, construction, and subsequent one-year maintenance period of tertiary clarifier equipment and installation at the Meander Wastewater Treatment Plant, 3264 Main Street, Mineral Ridge, Ohio. The estimated cost is $350,000. The work must follow the plans and specifications on file in the Mahoning County Sanitary Engineer's office. The project must be completed within 365 calendar days from the notice to proceed, and contractors and subcontractors are to use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor when practicable. Compliance with all Federal, State, and Local laws, licensing, wage rates, non-discriminating hiring practices, and specific equal employment opportunity requirements is required. Each proposal must include the full name of all parties involved and evidence of experience on projects of similar size and complexity. Official bid documents must be obtained, and bids will only be accepted from registered plan holders. Bids require a certified check or bid bond representing 10% of the proposal and, upon award, a performance bond of 100% of the contract price unless immediate delivery is specified and permitted.
