Site work and new construction of a municipal facility in Almena, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the construction of a 2,304-square-foot, one-story above grade municipal facility.
Bids are for a proposed 2,304 sq. ft, one-story, slab-on-grade, masonry Storm Shelter. Lump sum bids will be accepted for the General Contract, which includes Concrete, Site Work, General Construction, Electrical, HVAC, and Plumbing. Bids must include all labor, materials, equipment, and everything necessary for the completion of the project. Bidders are required to submit a 5% Bid Bond or Certified Check with their bid as a guarantee to execute the contract and provide a 100% Performance and Payment Bond if selected. The Owner reserves the right to retain the bid security of the three lowest responsible bidders and will return the bid security of the two remaining unsuccessful bidders after the agreement is executed. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder, but the Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive technicalities, and accept any bid deemed advantageous.
