Site work for a water / sewer project in Calabasas, California. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The scope of work for the Mulholland Highway Phase 1 & Escondido Canyon Pipeline Project will consist of the following surveying to establish existing site conditions, easement acquisition, permitting support, design and engineering services, bid phase services and construction support services. The following projects shall be included within this scope 1. The Mulholland Highway Phase 1 Project consists of the construction of approximately 0.4 miles of 10" diameter water main between Canyon Drive and Dry Canyon Cold Creek Road/Mountain Park Drive (see Attachment A). It is the District's intent that the new pipeline be installed while the existing mainline remain in service. All service and hydrant connections will be tied over to the new water main. 2. The Escondido Canyon Project consists of the construction of approximately 1.5 miles of 10" diameter water main between the Latigo Pressure Reducing Station and Ramirez Pressure Reducing Station (see Attachment B). It is the District's intent that the new pipeline be installed while the existing mainline remain in service and that the existing pipeline be abandoned in place. The new alignment shall be within existing easements, access roads and the public right of way wherever possible. All existing services, hydrants, and other appurtenances will be connected to the new water main. Right-of-way and easement acquisition services will be required for the main re-alignment along Old Chimney Rd. and Ramirez Ridge. It is the District's expectation that the proposer uses their expertise to customize the scope of work below, as appropriate, to meet the project objectives in a cost-effective manner. The District does not own any AutoCAD drawings (.dwg) for the proposed project areas. The selected proposer is expected to conduct a site survey and develop a .dwg of the existing conditions to use as the basis of their design drawings. Proposers may identify additional tasks as needed to meet the project objectives or may offer optional tasks as appropriate. The Las Virgenes Municipal Water District is seeking proposals for the Mulholland Highway Phase 1 & Escondido Canyon Pipeline Project. Proposals are to be submitted through the Procurement Portal. The District owns 393 miles of potable water main infrastructure and aims to sustain service levels through proactive infrastructure management and replacement as part of its Potable Water Main Rehabilitation and Replacement Program.
