Repave the roadways and parking lots at Malibu Creek State Park in Angeles County, California, complete and in accordance with the plans and specifications and such addenda as may be issued prior to the bid opening date. Prospective bidders may examine and obtain the bid forms, specifications, plans, and addenda (if any) by downloading the bid package from the specified website. Any discrepancies, omissions, ambiguities, or conflicts in or among the contract documents or doubts as to their meaning should be brought to the State's attention by emailing questions to the provided address no later than seven calendar days prior to the bid opening date. Answers will be provided by addendum on the website, and it is the responsibility of bidders to download any addendum as needed. The minimum Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation percentage goal is 6%. Failure to fulfill the DVBE requirement will render the bid non-responsive. An incentive will be given to bidders who exceed the 6% DVBE participation requirements. Refer to the DVBE forms beginning with DPR 479IP. A five percent (5%) Small Business Preference will be granted to properly certified small businesses (a completed STD 811 Form must be submitted with the bid proposal). No contractor or subcontractor may be listed on a bid proposal or awarded a contract for public work unless registered with the Department of Industrial Relations pursuant to Labor Code section 1725.5. This project is subject to compliance monitoring and enforcement by the Department of Industrial Relations. Engineer's Estimate: $800,000 to $1,200,000 *The value for this project is based on a financial range.
