Site work for a transportation facility in Potsdam, New York. Completed plans call for site work for a transportation facility.
The work generally consists of installation of approximately 15,500 linear feet of 8-foot high chain link fence, with barbed wire and a fabric wildlife deterrent skirt. The project also includes four manual cantilever vehicle gates. The project is split into two Base Bids for funding purposes: Base Bid A includes approximately 8,400 linear feet of new fence and fabric wildlife deterrent skirt; Base Bid B includes approximately 7,000 linear feet of new fence and fabric wildlife deterrent skirt. There are Bid Deduct options for both Base Bids to use a drive-in-ground wildlife deterrent skirt instead of a fabric skirt. Prevailing wage rates apply. Contractors must be bonded and insured to the specified level. A Federal DBE participation goal is included. The project is sales tax exempt. Bids must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond of 5% of the total maximum bid price.
