This project is for the general contract for Phase 2 of the domestic water piping at the South Central Correctional Facility. Question Deadline 05/07/2026 Bidders shall submit questions about Bidding Documents to Designer in writing. Replace the deteriorating copper domestic piping inside the housing buildings between the water heaters and the showers. The new domestic piping will be a corrosion resistant polypropylene system. Shower fixtures shall be replaced and new security access doors shall be installed plumbing chases to allow future access to the piping. Facility shall remain occupied and functional by the owner during construction except in isolated areas which shall be scheduled with the warden 48 hours in advance of shutting down. Down time shall be minimal. The facility must be notified 2 weeks prior to any shutdown.
