The reply will be in the form of an Addendum, a copy of which will be emailed to known recipients. The project consists of a single story approximate 7500 sf apparatus bay including a covered patio, a separate modular building living quarters (provided by others), a separate modular administrative building (provided by others), and outdoor training area to be located on FM 1518 and Kusmierz Rd, located in St. Hedwig Texas. The apparatus bay will have 4 vehicle bays, a bunker gear room, a SCBA room, a Decon room, and 2 restrooms. Building systems for the apparatus bay include a pre-engineered metal building with standing seam roofing, and metal wall panels. Site features include concrete paving, concrete curbs, staff and visitor parking, landscaping, water utilities, an on-site sewer system, a storm drainage detention pond, electrical utilities, and propane storage and distribution system. The building electrical system will be augmented with provision of an emergency power generator adequate to supply 100% of the facilities' electrical needs. Special systems included in the project include access control, video surveillance, and structured cabling. Bexar County ESD #12 is building a new Fire Station and outdoor training area.
