Bids are requested for road work, which includes chip and seal using 1/2" granite (no pea gravel), crack filling, blacktop (2 1/2" thick, 20 ft. wide, including shouldering), and delivery of 500 yards of 3/4" gravel to any town road or stockpiled at the town shop. The following road segments are listed for chip and seal: 210th St. (from Co. R to end), 230th St. (from States Hwy. 64 to Co. Z), 154th St. (from 225th Ave. to end), 224th Ave. (off 154th St.), 221st Ave. (from 150th St. to end), 155th St. (from 221st to end), 191st Ave. (from State Hwy. 64 to town line), 220th Ave. (from 230th St. to end). Crack filling is required on 190th St. (from State Hwy. 64 to Co. E), 175th St. (from 217th Ave. south to 205th Ave.), 205th Ave. (from 175th to 180th St.), 180th St. (from 205th Ave. to Co. E), and 220th (from Co. Z to end). Blacktop is required for 180th St. (from Hwy. 64 to last residence). Lump sum bids are not accepted; prices must be listed separately for each road segment. Bidders must submit a Certificate of Insurance with their bid. The board reserves the right to reject any or all bids. All work must be completed by Sept. 1, 2026.
