The proposed work includes the removal and replacement of the existing Runway 10-28 asphalt pavement, including incidental restoration and pavement marking. Bidders shall submit evidence of qualification meeting the requirements of General Contract Provisions 20-02, with possession by the prime contractor of MDOT prequalification at the time of bidding as an acceptable form of evidence. If the prime bidder is not prequalified in the designated item classification(s), it must use a subcontractor that is prequalified in such classification(s), to be designated prior to contract award. There is no Disadvantage Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal for this project. There is no pre-bid meeting. Bidders may secure copies of contract documents at www.preinnewhof.com/plan-room or at the Grand Rapids office of Prein&Newhof. There is no bid bond or bid surety required. Each bidder is responsible for careful examination of the site and all requirements of the project. The Harbor-Petoskey Area Airport Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to award the contract to the most responsive and responsible bidder. All addenda so issued shall become part of the contract and acknowledged by bidder.
