This project includes the cleaning (light and heavy), plugging, blocking, bypass pumping, closed circuit televising (CCTV) and inspection of approximately 38,000 L.F. of 8" to 18" sanitary sewers in Whitehall Borough, as well as traffic control, resident notification, and any required site restoration. All proposals must be submitted electronically via PennBid. Bids will only be accepted from bidders that are pre-qualified by Whitehall Borough to perform paving work. Proposals must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total proposal as a guarantee. Performance and labor and material payment bonds, along with public liability and property damage certificates of insurance, as well as certificates of workman's compensation, must be filed with the executed agreement. Pre-qualification requirements: Bids will only be accepted from bidders that are pre-qualified by Whitehall Borough to perform paving work. Bidders not pre-qualified to date in the Borough of Whitehall for listed work categories must contact the Borough Manager regarding requirements.
