The project generally includes the replacement of approximately 18 non-compliant curb ramps, identified out of a total of 50 remaining within the Borough, to ensure compliance with Section 504 accessibility standards. Each curb ramp to be rehabilitated will require truncated domes, which will allow visually impaired persons to traverse Mifflinburg's walkways by identifying these intersections. Bids are requested for a Single Prime Contract. Bid security in the form of a Certified Check or Bid Bond must be furnished with the bid in an amount not less than 10%.
