Site work and paving for a road / highway in Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Furnish and place approximate 13,428 SY of Double Seal Coat and 400 SY of Dust Oil Performance bond and payment bond in the amount of 100% of each contract, as well as proof of worker's compensation insurance will be required from the lowest responsible bidder. All work and material must meet current Pennsylvania Department of Transportation Specifications Form 408 and its Supplements. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished by the Municipality. The Municipality reserves the right to reject any or all proposals. Asphalt Double Seal Coat using CRS-2PM Oil Furnish and place two applications of Asphalt Seal Coat across the entire cross-section of roadway. Use CRS2PM emulsified asphalt, immediately followed by an application of coarse aggregate of #8 stone, to be rolled according to pub 408 section 470. Dust Oil This work is furnishing and placing dust oil at tabulated location. Contractor to follow Pub 408 Section 461.Incidental to the above items: Provide verifiable test results that show aggregate is clean, material finer than the 200 sieve does not exceed 1.0 percent; clean roadway prior to placement; provide affidavit showing aggregate and oil compatibility and provide Traffic Control according to Pub. 213. Note: Sweep all loose stones from roadway prior to opening to traffic
