Site work, new construction and renovation of a mixed-use development in Brevard, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; and for site work for a educational facility.
This project, Phase 2 of the overall Transylvania County Schools Renovation Project, includes significant renovations to as many as nine separate schools and district buildings within Transylvania County. Work is scheduled to be phased across the various campuses and buildings with a scheduled completion in the summer of 2028. Due to the size, complexity, phasing, and schedule of the work, scopes may be bid as initial packages, with the possibility for additional schools to be added after awarding. Staffing and financial capacity for this project will be critical. There is an established ten percent MWBE participation goal on this project. Historically underutilized and minority business participation is strongly encouraged.
