Renovation of a municipal facility in Brevard, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.
Work under the base bid includes installation of a penetrating sealer to existing masonry, an elastomeric coating to existing stucco, and miscellaneous sealant installation at Brevard City Hall. Alternates include extending the scope of work to the fire department addition to the original city hall building, and cleaning of existing casement windows Purpose Of Work: A. BASE Bid: City Hall Main Building 1. Installation Of Penetrating Sealer At Masonry (Approx 5,500 Sf). 2. Installation Of Elastomeric Coating At Existing Aggregate Surfaced Stucco Areas (Approx 1,600 Sf). 3. Replacement Of Stucco Panels At Bump Outs (Approx 150 Sf). 4. Sealant Installation At Window/Stucco Bays (Approx 895 Lf). B. Alternate 1: Fire Department Addition 1. Installation Of Penetrating Sealer At Masonry (Approx 3,500 Sf) . 2. Installation Of Elastomeric Coating At Existing Aggregate Surfaced Stucco Areas (Approx 475 Sf). 3. Sealant Installation At Window/Aggregate Surfaced Stucco Areas (Approx 75 Lf). B. Alternate 2: Casement Window Cleaning 1. Cleaning Of All Casement Windows As Well As Cleaning/Reassembly Of Hinge Track (Qty: 55). Questions must be received by 12:00 P.M. on 07/03/2026, to allow for addressing by addendum. Each proposal shall be accompanied by a cash deposit or a certified check drawn on some bank or trust company, insured by the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, of an amount equal to not less than five percent (5%) of the proposal, A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price The state reserves the unqualified right to reject any and all proposals
