The City of Lauderdale Lakes is seeking qualified, experienced, and licensed firm(s) to provide a fuel bay overhead canopy replacement in accordance with the terms, conditions and specifications contained in this Invitation To Bid (ITB). Question Deadline 05/08/2026 at 5:00 PM ET Please submit all written questions via the Citys eProcurement portal SCOPE OF WORK 3.1 Removal and Disposal a. The Contractor shall remove the existing overhead canopy structure located at the Public Works fuel bay and dispose of all materials in accordance with applicable regulations. b. Existing concrete footers and slabs associated with the current fuel dispenser system shall remain undisturbed. These elements are located beneath active fuel pumps and tanks and shall not be altered, removed, or impacted in any way. c. The Contractor shall reinstall or provide clearance height signage consistent with the existing canopy, including caution markings and lettering. 3.2 New Overhead Canopy and Footings a. The Contractor shall furnish and install a new overhead fuel bay canopy system, including four (4) reinforced concrete footings, each measuring 4 feet by 4 feet by 3 feet, in accordance with the approved construction drawings. b. Roofing System: The canopy roof shall consist of a 6-inch insulated roofing panel system designed for durability and weather resistance. c. Footing Installation: All new footings shall be located and constructed to avoid conflicts with existing underground infrastructure, including but not limited to utilities, fuel systems, and previously installed foundations. The Contractor shall verify all subsurface conditions prior to installation. d. Concrete Toppers: Concrete toppers shall be provided and installed over each of the four (4) new footings to: Fully encase and conceal canopy mounting plates Provide a smooth, level, and finished concrete surface e. Painting and FinishesAll exposed structural steel components shall be painted white A red trim finish shall be applied at the base of each canopy column
