Question Deadline 05/12/2026 Bidders requiring clarification or interpretation of the Bid Documents shall make a written request to the Prime Designer, to reach him at least seven (7) calendar days prior to the date for receipt of the bids. Furnish labor and materials for Student Union Elevator Modernization (LSU Solicitation Number: RFQ-0000002776). Bids will be received by the Office of Purchasing, Louisiana State University and Agricultural and Mechanical College. All bids must be submitted via email. Complete bidding documents may be obtained from the designated website. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the sum of the base bid and all alternates, and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or Bid Bond Form from a surety company licensed in Louisiana. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish a Performance and Payment Bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana, in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount. Bids shall be accepted from contractors licensed for the classification of Building Construction. The owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. The bidder is required to comply with all provisions and requirements referenced in the advertisement.
