The project includes the installation of a new owner-furnished, 1,250 kW diesel engine-driven standby generator with a sound-attenuated enclosure and subbase fuel tank, and an owner-furnished automatic transfer switch and triple switch equipment. Work involves the construction of new concrete pad foundations and elevated, stand-alone metal platforms and stairways for the equipment. It also includes the demolition and disposal of an existing standby generator, above-ground diesel storage tank, and associated facilities. An existing odor scrubber system and its equipment will be relocated, requiring a new elevated concrete pad foundation, and above- and below-ground foul air piping. The scope covers receiving, hoisting, and anchoring new owner-furnished electrical and odor scrubber equipment. It further includes furnishing and installing new yard piping, duct banks, conduits, conductors, raceways, and supports, with building penetrations to connect new and existing electrical equipment. Temporary standby power generators will be furnished and installed during construction. The project is completed with AC pavement rehabilitation and minor concrete improvements.
