Sealed bids are requested for the Hamilton FMS #6 Roof Repair in Hamilton, Alabama. Certified checks or bid bonds, not less than five percent of the bid amount and not more than $10,000.00, must accompany each proposal. Performance and Payment bonds are required at contract signing. All bidders must be registered to do business in Alabama, and those bidding over $100,000.00 must be licensed under Title 34, Chapter 8, Code of Alabama, 1975. Plans and specifications are available for public inspection and may be obtained from the designated architect upon deposit. Only official plan holders will receive project addenda or information. Prospective bidders not on the distribution list must notify the architect in writing of their intent to bid. Attendance at the mandatory pre-bid conference is required to submit a bid. WORK COVERED BY CONTRACT DOCUMENTS A. The Project consists of work as described in the drawings and specifications entitled: Hamilton FMS #6 Roof Repair prepared by Williams Blackstock Architects, dated 03/19/2026. B. The types of work specified in this section include the following: 1. Furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, staging areas, hoisting, qualified personnel and proper supervision for the work described in the drawings and specifications. 2. Protection of the buildings, grounds, building personnel and visitors. C. Work to be performed under a single prime contract. Should any bidder observe any ambiguity, discrepancy, omission, or error in the Drawings and Specifications, or in any other Contract Document, or be in doubt as to the intention and meaning thereof, he should at once report such to the Engineer and request clarification, in writing, with a copy of his request to the Contracting Officer. Clarification will be made only by written addenda sent to all prospective bidders. Neither the Engineer, nor the Contracting Officer will be responsible in any manner for verbal answers regarding intent or meaning of the Contract Documents, or for any verbal instructions, by whomsoever made, prior to the award of the Contract
