Description

Site work and paving for a road / highway in Burlington, Kansas. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The project consists of approximately 5 miles of 1 1/2" milling and 1 1/2" hot mix (24.5' width) overlay on 16th Road - Trefoil Road (North) to Yearling Road. Drawings and specifications may be examined at the County Clerk's office in the Courthouse in Burlington, Kansas. Copies of the drawings and specifications for bidding purposes may be obtained by qualified bidders at the County Engineer's Office, 1510 S. 6th Street, Burlington, KS 66839. Sealed bids should be submitted at the County Clerk's office in the Courthouse, plainly marked on the outside with Project No. A2604-C. Each bidder must include with their proposal a Bid Bond or Cashier's Check in the amount of 5% of the bid as Bid Security. The Bid Security will be forfeited if the successful bidder fails to execute and deliver the agreement, payment, and performance bonds within ten (10) days of Notice of Award. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and the right to waive any or all informalities or irregularities therein.
