The project involves the relocation of the Make Mine Milk Building from its current site at 2706 NW La Center Road to a new site at the corner of E Cedar Avenue and E 5th Street in La Center, WA. Project Description The contract will provide for: Demolishing and salvage all reusable materials of the Make Mine Milk Building o Metal roofing and siding o Trusses and associated framing o All other usable framing lumber Restoring Existing Site o Remove concrete and dispose o Gather Construction debris and dispose o Grade site and install seed and straw over New Site Preparation o Layout (city will survey and provide grading plan) o Excavation for pole footing and gravel base pad and site for 9" of base o Gravel base (9" crushed rock) Engineering o Structural engineering plans to be submitted for the reconstruction of the Make Mine Electrical o 400AMP UG electrical panel mounted inside building and conduit and wiring for 3 overhead interior light and 6 outlets on the walls of the Make Mine Milk Building and install conduit to Clark Public Utility pole for UG power. Future 50AMP pulls to serve food carts will be done later. o 3 light fixtures OH o 6 outlets on wall Reconstruct building (40 ft X 70 ft) at 5th and Cedar location o Install posts and footings for pole building o Framing (please add to the bid up to $5K for additional framing lumber budget) o Install salvaged metal siding and roof o The historical "MAKE MINE MILK" painted lettering on the building is critical not to damage.
