Description

Site work, renovation and addition to a detention facility in Sylva, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the addition of a 4,423-square-foot detention facility; for the renovation of a detention facility; and for site work for a detention facility.

The project consists of a 4,423-square-foot addition of eighteen new detention cells to the Jackson County Justice Center. The scope also includes the rework of the laundry facilities and the addition of a rec yard and multipurpose room. SITE - select underground utilities and site renovations to accommodate the expansion o STRUCTURE - Load-bearing CMU walls with hollow-core precast planks o FACADE AND ENVELOPE - EIFS to match existing, new TPO membrane roof o MEPS - Packaged RTUs with Gas Reheat, New Smoke Evac Units, Detention Grade Plumbing Fixtures, Electrical Distribution connected to existing systems o FINISHES - Sealed Concrete, Resinous Shower Floors, Painted Block Walls, Secured Drywall Ceilings
