The work consists of video inspection, cleaning, and CIPP rehabilitation of approximately 9,100 linear feet of 8-inch sewer main, 568 linear feet of 10-inch sewer main, reinstating approximately 180 services, bypass pumping, permits, and traffic control. All work is located within the District's service area. All work covered by the contract documents shall be completed by October 31, 2026. Each bid shall be accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in the amount of five percent (5%) of the total bid price as a guarantee that the bidder, if their bid is accepted, will promptly execute the contract, secure payment of worker's compensation insurance, and furnish a satisfactory, faithful performance bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price and a payment bond in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Any contractor who has not worked in the District within the last 5 years may be required to submit additional documentation, including experience and references for at least three projects of similar scope and size completed within the last 5 years. The work will be awarded based on experience, references, availability, and cost. A waiting period of 30 calendar days from the date of opening of bids to award of contract may be required. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive an informality in a bid, and to make awards in the interest of the Owner. No specification interpretations will be made by telephone, nor will any 'or equal' products be considered for approval prior to award of contract.
