Site work and new construction of an industrial development in Dallas, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a 9,000-square-foot industrial development.
Sealed proposals are requested for the furnishing of labor, material, and equipment for the construction of the North Carolina Department of Transportation Gaston County Equipment Sub-Shop, a 9,000 square foot pre-engineered metal building and associated site work. Bids are to be submitted as single-prime and all proposals shall be lump sum. Preferred brand alternates being considered for this project include the "Sargent" 80 Series, 8800 rim exit device and trim at all doors specified to receive this hardware type. All contractors must have the appropriate license as required by state law. Bidders must include, with their proposal, the form Identification of Minority Business Participation and either Affidavit A or B, as applicable; failure to complete these forms is grounds for bid rejection. Bidders must provide a cash deposit, certified check, or bid bond equal to at least five percent of the proposal. A performance bond and a payment bond for 100% of the contract price are required. No bid may be withdrawn for 30 days after bid closure. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities. Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent of monthly estimates, with final payment upon completion and acceptance of work. SUBMIT ELECTRONICALLY IN WRITING TO DESIGNER thameed@morrisberg.com
