Description

Please see Invitation to Bid regarding how to obtain project documents. Construction bid proposals are invited for work on the construction of an irrigation pond located at Thirsty Fruit Farm, 276 Midline Road, Slaterville Springs, NY. The project will be installed according to the engineered design plan and the functional needs specified by the farm operator Brad Yentzer. Bidders should contact Brad Yentzer for directions or general questions regarding the pond project location site or overall project scope. For questions regarding construction, bid packets, and engineering drawing requests, bidders should contact Jessica Skinner, Skinner Engineering. Any bid that does not fulfill the material requirements of the bidding documents will be rejected. Tompkins County Soil and Water Conservation District and/or Thirsty Fruit Farm may award the contract in whole or in part, select any combination of bids, or waive any informality in or reject any or all bids. They also reserve the right to delete certain bid items based on overall project cost or for any other reason, and will give written notice of any intent to eliminate work items. Contractor selection and bid award will occur the following week after the bid due date.
